Suporte plain X

  • How does billing work in plain X?

    plain X uses a volume-based billing model — not restrictive per-seat licenses.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of transcription minutes. When you transcribe a video or audio file, its duration is deducted from your balance.

Any follow-up tasks on that same file (translations, subtitles, or voice-overs) don’t consume additional minutes.

  • Do unused minutes carry over to the next month?

    • Annual plans: Your total yearly allowance is pooled, so unused minutes from one month can be used later within the same year.
    • Monthly plans: Unused minutes don’t carry over to the next month.
  • What happens if I reach my monthly limit?

If you reach your monthly allowance, you can:

    • Upgrade to a higher tier,
    • Purchase top-up minutes, or
    • Enable billable extra minutes to keep working without interruption.

This gives you full control over your usage and costs.

  • Does plain X support speaker diarization?

Yes, plain X can identify and label individual speakers.
Speaker IDs can be edited and carried over across tasks for example, you can transcribe, translate, and create a multilingual voice-over using distinct voices for each original speaker.

  • I need to use a specific font that’s not in plain X. Is that possible?

Yes. You can send us your licensed font, and we’ll make it available in your plain X workspace.

  • What file formats does plain X support?

Plain X supports most standard video, audio, and text formats for both input and output.
    Examples:

    • Upload an MP3 and export the transcription or translation as a Word file.
    • Upload an MP4 and export subtitles in formats like .srt or .vtt.
  • Does plain X provide an API?

  • Can plain X burn subtitles into videos?

    Yes. You can:

    • Burn them directly into the video, either as hard-burned or soft-burned subtitles (depending on the video format).
  • Does plain X support vertical videos?

Yes. plain X includes subtitling templates for horizontal, square, and vertical videos, perfect for social media formats.

  • Can I upload multiple files at once?

Yes. You can drag and drop multiple files into plain X as long as they share the same workflow.
     For example:

    • Transcribe several audio files with speaker diarization and export all as Word documents, or
    • Upload multiple videos and have them transcribed, translated, and subtitled in one go.
  • Can I choose which audio tracks to transcribe?

Yes. When uploading your media, you can select specific audio tracks to include in the transcription.

  • Can plain X use an existing script for a video?

Yes. You can upload a script in the same language as the video’s audio, and plain X will align it automatically with the original sound saving time and ensuring precise timing.
