This document describes how to enable the users of a Workspace to login into plain X using Microsoft Entra ID (a.k.a Azure AD) credentials.
Step 1: Authorize plain X to use MS Entra ID #
In order to be able to log in to plain X using a Microsoft account it is first necessary for someone with administrator permissions in the client’s Microsoft tenant to access the following link:
If you are not already signed in to Microsoft, you will be asked to log in with your credentials. After that, you will be able to see the permissions required by plain X (basic user information, email, openId for authentication). You will then be redirected to plain X, indicating that the process is complete.
Step 2: Request Tenant Authorization #
In this step, please share your Microsoft Azure “Tenant Id” with your account representative at Priberam, so that we can authorize the link between your Azure tennant and your workspace.
The “Tenant Id” can be obtained from the Azure Portal. Search for “Tenant Properties”→“Tenant Id”.
Afterwards, you can try logging in via plain X using the “Sign in with Microsoft” button.
Step 3: Role Configuration #
By default, user accounts are added to plain X with the “Editor” role. This can be later changed by your plain X Workspace Administrator in “Settings”->”Workspace”->”Users”.
