This section provides a comprehensive list of key operations available within the app, along with step-by-step instructions on how to perform them. These actions are designed to streamline your workflow and enhance your overall experience. Whether you’re managing settings, saving work, or accessing advanced features, this guide will help you navigate the app efficiently.

Action	How to perform
Text editor
Add new segment	Hover the mouse over the free space between the segments. Click on the plus button and create a new segment.
Change start time	Drag the upper border of the text segment to change its starting time.
Change end time	Drag the down border of the text segment to change its ending time.
Change segment duration	Grab the segment and drag it up or down to change its timestamps.
See the segment’s actions	Hover over the segment to see the list of the available actions on the right down corner.
Add comments and notes	Hover over the text segment and add comments, editorial notes or delete a segment using the icons on the right down corner. You can only create one editorial note per segment, but multiple comments. The editorial notes are transferred between the subsequent tasks, but the comments are not.
Split a segment	Split a segment using the Ctrl+Enter shortcut: click on the place in the text where you want a split to appear and press Ctrl+Enter.
Merge two segments	Hover over the text segment to see the merge buttons on the top and bottom of a segment. To make the merge, click one of them. Use Crtl+↑ shortcut to merge with a segment above. Use Crtl+↓ to merge with a segment below.
Undo/Redo	Click the arrow icons on the ribbon or use Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y shortcuts to undo/redo the action.

Task page
Export task	Select File → Export on the subheader to export your work.
Change permissions	Select Settings → Permissions on the subheader to manage the access to the task.
Change working area configuration	Select View to customize the working area on the task page.
Rerun task	Click on the settings icon on the ribbon to rerun the task with a different engine or segmentation.
Find in text	Click on the magnifier icon on the ribbon to find a single word or a word combination in the text.
Task page (type specific)
Subtitling
Change the template	Click on the template icon in the right down corner of the segment and select a new template. Click on the Settings icon on the ribbon to change the subtitling template and ruleset for the whole task.
Voice-over
Change the task settings	Click on the settings icon on the ribbon to change the speaker voice for the segment or select a different engine.
Replay a segment	Hover over the text segment and press the play button in the right corner to play a single segment.
Rerun voice	Hover over the text segment and press the rerun button in the right corner after making a change a segment. Click on the rerun button on the ribbon to rerun the whole task.
Adjust the voice	Double click on a word or a combination of words to change pronunciation, intonation or prosody.
Add a break	Select two words from the text and adjust the break properties on the appearing menu under the Break tab.
